Live rooms and participation
Camera, audio and computer broadcasts share a familiar audience experience.
Watch and interact
Open a room from the available live list to view its host and content. Viewers can follow the host, read and send chat messages, inspect available rankings and send gifts. Availability depends on account state and room moderation.
Chat is part of the room and updates across connected clients. Hosts and moderators can address disruptive behavior through their permitted controls. Reporting and blocking have different purposes: a report requests review; a block limits the relevant interaction.
Create a camera live
- Open the live preparation flow and choose camera/video. Enter the available title and cover information.
- Allow camera and microphone access when requested. Check framing, microphone and any supported effect in the preview.
- Start the transmission and use the host controls during the session.
- End it explicitly when finished and confirm that camera and microphone indicators stop.
Effects and real output
Built-in Astra effects are available in the supported Android and iOS experience. DeepAR is optional and requires the operator’s compatible license and catalog. The enabled technology and supported device determine what appears in the selector. A local effect preview should be checked from a second viewer to confirm the transmitted result.
Audio rooms do not use camera effects. Browser and provider capabilities differ; do not assume a phone-only effect is available in every client.
Screen and game lives
Mobile screen/game broadcasting uses the platform’s supported screen-sharing permission flow. The ordinary web application offers video and audio creation; use Studio for computer screen/game publishing. The Studio chapter explains the two computer workflows.
PK duels
A PK brings participating broadcasts into a duel presentation, with both sides visible and their activity reflected in the duel interface. Viewers keep the room’s chat and gift interactions. Provider support and the availability of each side still apply.
The demonstration includes clearly identified prerecorded PK content. It illustrates the presentation and interactions; it is not evidence that two real people are broadcasting at that moment.
Eligibility and your own broadcast
The operator can allow general broadcasting or require agency admission and final platform approval for the applicable video/game flow. Audio-room admission is separate. An agency owner may use otherwise permitted mobile or web live modes, but cannot publish through Studio.
A host may watch their Studio transmission on mobile or the web as a spectator. Publishing controls remain in Studio. The account cannot send gifts to itself, even from the spectator view.
Profiles, messages and support
Profiles identify people through their public name, image, ID and supported frame. Following a creator connects their activity to the audience experience; it is separate from agency membership.
Private conversations are separate from live-room chat. Open the appropriate conversation to read and reply, and use a support ticket for operator assistance. Official service channels identify announcements and ticket updates; they are not an unrestricted private conversation with the administrator.
The interface includes Portuguese (Brazil), English, Spanish, French, Italian, German, Hindi, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Indonesian, Turkish, Russian and Vietnamese. Operator-authored names, descriptions and legal policies require their own translations.
